Traditional Chinese Medicine, Auriculotherapy, and Food

My name is Chris Logan, and I am in my fifth year of studies at Oshio College of Acupuncture and Herbology in Victoria BC.  I recently obtained TCM Practitioner certification and am currently in my doctoral studies.

 

About four years ago, shortly after getting my Primary Care Paramedic certification I found myself at a crossroads.  The life of a paramedic with a young family didn't resonate well with me, so I decided to work on my pre-med undergrad.  Destiny, however, had different plans for me.

 

Shortly before my studies began, my eldest daughter, then three years old, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.  After a long stint in the hospital, I began to question Western medicine's band-aid approach to chronic illness.  As such, I removed myself from the pre-med program and entered into the life-changing path of Tradition Chinese Medicine.  Since that time, I've learned that there are many different ways to align oneself with good health.  Now, I am proud to share my experience with you!
